Cedar Planked Salmon

Whole grilled & smoked salmon garnished with lemons on a cutting board

INGREDIENTS

  • 1-3 lb Salmon fillet
  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil
  • 2-3 Tbsp Lemon Pepper (I prefer Pappys brand)
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 Cedar grilling planks


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat grill to 275F using B&B Hickory Lump Charcoal, setup up for indirect heat.
  2. Coat both sides of salmon with oil then lemon pepper, slice lemon and lay down the middle of the salmon fillet.
  3. Stagger planks on grill and place prepared salmon on cedar planks.
  4. Smoke salmon to an internal temp of 145F.
  5. Remove, serve, and enjoy!
